Comments:	I had the pleasure of knowing Andy when I was a warrant officer aviator (Rattler 20 / Firebird 97) with the 71st AHC in 1969. I had flown with him as my co-pilot several times. In a setting where good humor was badly needed, Andy always provided. In addition to be a good guy, a good pilot and a very funny guy, Andy was a pleasure to work with. I was on R&R when the aircraft flown by Andy and Herb Crosby disappeared. Any loss in combat is tragic, but I really felt the loss of these two fine guys and the crewmen. I heard in the 70's that Andy's sister became a leader in the Kansas POW /MIA group. I would love to talk with her if anyone knows a contact. To this day, I proudly display a POW / MIA sticker on my truck, my Harley and my helmet in honor of this lost air crew. I have touched thier names on The Wall, and tried to explain to my son about loss and sacrifice, friendship and courage.

Comments:	Every year for the last 6 years on Memorial Day we have a candle light service for Andy. And on Veterans Days we do a program at the high school where he graduated. He will never be forgotten. May he be forever at peace in God's hands.

Comments:	Andy and I went through Flight School together. Flew to Cam Ranh Bay and then seperated to differnt Units. Upon my return to the States, I got his MIA/POW bracelet and have never taken it off. His Sister and I researched his disappearance and I am still continuing it. Comments:	Recent information from the Department of Defense reconfirms that Andy's remains have not been located, suggesting that he was not with the other crewmen. Unconfirmed reports place him in the hands of the Viet Cong and then the North Vietnamese. DoD received dog tags with Andy's name on them but they are determined NOT to be military-issued.
